We are a group of experienced therapists and behavioral health leaders who provide high-quality and accessible counseling and consulting services. Founded by a clinical social worker, we are committed to excellence and social justice in our work. We provide evidence-based care that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing. Consulting focuses primarily on improving conditions in the healthcare sector. Our advocacy improves people’s lives through education, storytelling, and action.

Licensure: All of our providers are licensed mental health professionals. This means that they are able to practice psychotherapy and bill insurance independently or under the supervision of a fully licensed provider. A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker has a masters degree and at least 3 years of supervised post-graduate clinical experience as a therapist before they can take the board examination and practice independently in the State of Washington. All of our providers have masters degrees and significant clinical experience.

Telehealth Visits: If you meet with your provider virtually, the session will take place over a secure video connection. You will be sent a link prior to your appointment. Please be in a private location and be dressed appropriately for an appointment with a healthcare professional. Per state licensing rules you must physically be in the State of Washington during your visit. Some providers are licensed in other states, so there may be some exceptions in the case of travel, but please communicate this with your therapist prior to logging into a session from an out-of-state location.

Privacy: We take your confidentiality very seriously. Visits are documented on a secure platform and nothing will be shared without your permission, unless we have concern that you have plans to hurt yourself or another person.

Insurance: We are in-network with Lyra Health, Regence, Premera, Lifewise, Kaiser, and most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. We accept HSA and all major credit cards. Deductible and co-pays will be charged to your card automatically after each visit. Please note that some of our providers also work in large healthcare organizations and may show up as in-network under many other insurers. However, they are not able to take these other insurances, as Gemini is only contracted with the above carriers.

Cancellation: Please provide at least 24 hours notice before cancelling an appointment or you will be charged the full rate (insurance does not cover no-shows or late cancellations). Timely cancellation allows us to provide help to someone else during this time.
