Josh Cutler, MSW, LICSW
Josh Cutler, MSW, LICSW is a man with a particular set of skills. His approach has been honed over 20+ years of working in healthcare as a clinician and executive. He has held leadership roles at Premera Blue Cross’s Kinwell Health, Providence Swedish, Sound, and Alpha Supported Living Services, among others. He has been recognized with awards from the Swedish Medical Staff, the WA DD Council, and the WA State Society for Clinical Social Work.
A lifelong resident of the pacific northwest, he grew up on South Whidbey Island and later graduated from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. He attended the University of Washington for a Master of Social Work, with the dream of being a licensed clinician someday.
A licensed independent clinical social worker, since 2015, Josh is qualified to provide psychotherapy to youth and adults and clinical supervision to pre-licensed therapists. Josh also provides consulting to organizations developing behavioral health or long term care programs. He also provides executive coaching to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
He the the author of one book and has an additional memoir in pre-publication, expected out at the end of 2026. He also produces a men’s mental health podcast.
Settled near extended family in the northern suburbs of Seattle, he lives with his wife of twenty years, two young daughters, and an energetic aussiedoodle.
